Hello, my name is Ava
I work as a project manager, am a parent, and Iām an expat living in Seattle, United States.
A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of my life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to United States wasn't in the long-term plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding ā unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Daily tasks felt more complex than they ought to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, ambiguity, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built AlvexNorital
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a genuine, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap with practical advice drawn from real life in United States.
What This Site Does (And Doesn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in United States
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- Not a sponsored-review platform
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Forward
Our stay in United States goes on, and the learning journey continues. As long as the information remains helpful, I will keep recording what we uncover.
If you have questions about family life in Seattle or anywhere in United States, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Ava
